Tonight’s meeting is presented by Neil Farnham, and is a ” have a go” evening with various finishes, If you would like to have a go , please bring suitable clothing.
Report on Meeting 19th March 2026
Mark Sutton led an evening on various finishing techniques he uses. This included the use of texturing tools, paints of various colours that can be blended for different effects, and other media such as beads. It was a full evening, with many tips and ideas, and we are grateful to Mark for sharing with us.

A well attended evening organised by our Chair, Nick Simpson, on the topic of platters. Nick told us about the techniques needed for making platters, including sacrificial chucking, multiple centre chucking, etc.
