This was a team turning evening. 3 teams were selected consisting of an experienced turner, a novice turner and an intermediate turner.
They had been given the task of making an egg cup, a plate and an egg. Though we knew that it was unlikely the task would be completed in the time allowed. Each team begun by making an egg. ( Maybe there should have been a prize for the most egg shaped egg too!). Then the cup. Only one team started on a plate in the last minute of the time allowed.
Some very proud ” chickens” show off their eggs and cups. It was agreed that one of each team would finish the plate at home.
