Our first meeting of 2019.

Our first meeting of 2019 was held on Thursday evening 10th January 2019. It was all to do with spindle turning, there were 4 turners working the lathes, Bill Munro who also managed the session along with David Hutcheson, Charles Richards and David McGruer, all were to do different things but with the same theme of spindle turning. The turn out was very good and the evening went well.

David McGruer was to make some pens.
Here David can be seen working on an Acrylic blank.
Bill Munro was to make a goblet with some inserts in a different wood.
Charles Richards was demonstrating the making of beads on a spindle.
David Hutcheson was making a babies rattle with 2 captive rings.
This was the results of Charles Richards bead making.
