Our meeting on Thursday 15th February 2024 was organized by Nick Simpson, Nick’s theme for the evening was making wooden trinket boxes, he had organized for 4 turners plus himself to be demonstrating.

Before we get into the details of this meeting I would like to invite those of you who would be interested in taking up woodturning as a hobby to contact us and arrange for a free visit to see exactly what the club is all about. We are on the lookout for a few new members to join the club, you can be male or female, aged over 12 years with an interest in making things on a lathe, having a lathe at this point is not a requirement.
