Our meeting this week 16th March 2023 is a Showtime meeting. This meeting is being organized by Peter Lawrence and the Compere for the meeting will be Alec Mutch.
The usual format applies, bring any items you have made to the show and let the rest of the members see what you have been working on, do remember you are allowed to bring more than one item to the show, we would like you to say a few words about the things you have made, what they are made from and what inspired you to make them.
For those who do not know the format for this meeting, bring your items to the Showtime meeting, let me (Alec Mutch) know you are showing some things, you will be given a number and that number will be called out in numerical order for you to then show the items you have made, do not show anything until you have been called out.

As you can see not all the items have to be wholly from the lathe, any item you have made is also very welcome, whether or not it’s been turned.
We are looking to have a good turnout as usual, we have over the years seen this particular part of our programme increase in interest and we hope this meeting will be no different, so do bring your items to show.
Don’t think because you may be new to Woodturning that you cannot show your work, we very much welcome items from everyone no matter how experienced they are.
The usual raffles will be on sale, as will there be some refreshments, but do also remember to put your 50p in the plate for the coffee.
